What can I expect
in a class?
Each class is always different, designed to meet
the needs of those in the class. However,
a typical class will include chanting, breathing techniques,
core strengthening, yoga poses, such as standing, balancing, back
bending, forward bending and inverted poses. Each class ends with a
deep relaxation session. After class, expect to feel relaxed,
calm, loose, energized, invigorated and/or blissful.
Do I need to
bring my own mat?
No. We rent our public mats out for $1/class.
You can purchase your own mat either online or locally, just about
anywhere that carries sporting goods.
What should I
wear?
Wear comfortable
clothing that stretches and is not too loose. Form-fitted clothing is best because
it will allow you more freedom of movement.
How often
should I come to class?
Ultimately, the more regular you are
with your routine, the quicker you'll see marked changes in
yourself. Going to class once a week is better than going
twice in one week and nothing the next week. For best results,
put your classes into your calendar and make it a regular habit!
How much does it
cost?
It's $10/class.
If you decide to come more the 8 times a month, we suggest buying a
monthly unlimited pass for $80. The pass gets you an unlimited
amount of yoga classes during the month. The beginners series
is $30 for the four classes.
