Getting Started
We're glad you've taken interest in yoga and our studio.  We know it can be daunting trying to decide where to start your yoga journey- we know because we were all there once before as well!  We hope this information will help decide if yoga is for you, what classes to take and help prepare you for your first class with us!  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail us at info@sriyogacenter.com or call us at 937-222-7482.

Beginner classes
We offer many different classes that are available to those with little or no experience at all with yoga.  Please use this chart to help decide what class is right for you!  Also please note that this chart is not an end-all.  Ultimately your own personal experience is the best judge, so we recommend trying all the classes.  You may find your own experience is different from what is on this chart, or you may find that you enjoy attending several different or all of the classes.

 

YOGA FLOW
Try this class if... Times
You prefer more of a work out while practicing yoga.  You want to build strength and stamina, especially in the abs.  You enjoy working up a sweat. Tue, 6-7pm, Wed, 6:30-7:30pm, Sat, 12-1pm, Mon, 9-10:30am, Tue, 9-10am, Wed, 10:15-11:15am, Thur, 10:30-11:45am
 
SLOW FLOW YOGA
Try this class if... Times
You enjoy moving slowly and want to work solely on building flexibility. Sundays, 11am-12:30pm, Thursdays, 6-7:15pm
 
GENTLE YOGA
Try this class if... Times
You prefer a gentler practice without standing postures. You want a practice that is more relaxing.  You have limited movement or injuries. Wednesdays, 5:15-6:15pm

 

 

YOGA SOUP
Try this class if... Times
You enjoy a class that incorporates many different styles and approaches.  You enjoy working up a sweat. Not currently offered.
 
HOT YOGA
Try this class if... Times
You enjoy working up a vigorous sweat, don't mind practicing in 90+ degrees. Mondays, 6:30-7:30, Wednesdays, 7:45-8:45pm
 
YOGA BEGINNERS SERIES
Try this class if... Times
You prefer to sign up
for several classes which will build upon
one another.  You want a full introduction to yoga philosophy and styles.  You enjoy working up a sweat.
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm, Saturdays, 12-1pm
